Crisis Care Kits

As the WGCN prepares to help out Haiti, Japan, Joplin, and other locations devastated recently, we are asking everyone to begin collecting the following items. Shortly we will have drop off stations for you to donate these items. Next we will have an assembly session where we will package these items and send them to Nazarene Headquarters for distribution.

We hope that everyone at WGCN will participate in this very important endeavor. To get you started, please see the list below. It is imperative you do not deviate from the size or description as it is indicated. ALL Crisis Care Kits are to be of equal value & content.

You are welcome to make completed kits, or to donate individual items as you prefer. Thank you in advance for your faithful service.

Deviating from this list can cause an entire shipment to be rejected in customs.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Into a 2-GALLON ZIPLOC BAG we will put the following items:
• 1 medium size bottle of shampoo (12 to 18oz.), please tape flip-tops closed
• 2 bars of soap (no travel size)
• 1 medium toothpaste (4.0 to 6.4 oz.)
• 3 toothbrushes
• 1 box of Band-Aids (30 or more)
• 1 fingernail clipper
• 1 sturdy hair comb
• 2 hand towels
• 4 pocket-size packages of facial tissue
• 1 Beanie Baby-size stuffed toy
